Submission Guidelines

Buddhadharma: the Practitioner's Quarterly publishes in-depth teachings and articles from all the Buddhist traditions. For those who wish to send in a submission, we recommend that you first read several issues of the magazine in order to become familiar with the range of material that we publish.

We consider both article submissions and story ideas, but published clips should accompany story ideas so that we can review the quality of the writing.

Desired Word Length of Pieces:

Feature articles: 2500-5000 words
First Thoughts: 300-500 words
Journeys: 850 words
